Food and Wine Options

Yes, wine is for sale.
Retzlaff Vineyards produces award winning wines from their California Certified Organic estate vineyard. They sell their own exceptional wine while we use their space, their tables, chairs, facilities, stemware, garbage, recycling, and staff who provide us all a great experience. If wine is not your thing, sodas and water are available for purchase. Beer or other alcohol is not available for sale. No outside alcohol is permitted on the property.
Food for sale also, for your convenience. Don’t bring outside savory food please.
Tasteful Catering and Events will be on-site at each show with a small, thoughtful selection of delicious appetizer and meal options. This supports those who don’t want to cook or who are rushed for time to get a meal at the event. Tasteful Catering and Events has phenomenally fresh, delicious food made with high-quality ingredients, with a serious respect for customers who are vegan, or who are allergic or sensitive to certain ingredients. They have also developed a menu for Comedy Uncorked, which while limited, will be quick and easy to serve so that guests are not waiting for their food to be prepared.
It is sometimes difficult to attract a food vendor to Comedy Uncorked to provide this service. It is hard for these food vendors to plan demand accurately, and unsold food that has left their commercial kitchen has to be thrown out at the end of the night. A loss of profit and a waste. And an irony when the benefactor of our event is a program to alleviate hunger (Open Heart Kitchen). We may experiment with a food pre-order system in the future.
This year our food vendors have lost revenue due to cancelled weddings, parties, banquets and corporate events. Many have lost staff who moved to lower cost of living areas, while they face higher food and supply costs. With all this in mind, Comedy Uncorked agreed to disallow outside food to improve their financial footing, while we all get back to normal.
Note: Tasteful Catering and Events are only accepting cash and Venmo for payments at this time.
Guests may bring their own desserts, pastries and other sweet treats and serve these with their own plates, utensils and napkins. But please support our on-site food vendor by purchasing savory food from them.
We know this is not 100% back to the joyful picnic experience we’ve had in the past, but we will get there soon.
